I have heard a lot about the wonderful Greek Muossaka but till today I have no idea which recipe is authentic and which tastes the best!??!!!
So I am here asking if any of you have got a delicious Greek Moussaka recipe that made from minced beef (I saw some made from lamb)? Please HELP? I am excited to try making them for my husband :)

ReplyDeleteI have made moussaka before using lamb mince and it was delicious (the second time I made it it was too oily which I think was because of the lamb mince i used), i'll have to go through my recipes and see if i can find it :)

ReplyDeleteI am a veggie so I only make the vegetarian version (eggplants and veggie mince or lentils, topped with yogurt and feta cheese. For the original meat version did you try a search on the net?

I adore Moussaka but I have never made it with beef. I have a feeling you can try a basic recipe and substitute the ground lamb with ground beef. Have you seen this recipe from Saveur? It's a personal favorite of mine:) Good Luck & Have FUN!!! I'm sure your hubby will love whatever you create!!!
